I’ve had the privilege of being the resident photographer for KVLT tattoo studio. Set just of Grafton street, Irelands busiest shop street, it is always booming with both clients and artists, it’s always an absolute pleasure to shoot in here and capture real artists at work (side note: I took up photography as an 8-year-old because I couldn’t draw my way out of a paper bag).
What I enjoy most shooting here is the run and gun nature of capturing both art and interaction, while getting to chat absolute shite with clients and pals, while scooting around on a stool with wheels, snapping shots like a glorified Roomba.
